The award itself states: This award is named for the Petrified Palmwood stone, the official State Rock of Texas, which is formed over time, steadfast in its resolve and faces the future with great certainty and purpose. Presented to a supporter of Texas music and the Academy of Texas Music, Inc. who demonstrates a solid and unwavering dedication to the music, people and culture of the Republic of Texas.”
Steen Promotions is handled by Dillon alone, thus making sure nothing leaks through any cracks and the artist has his full attention.
